Scrolling Text Box is used often.
The script is also available widely. However, we had difficulty to find a
readily available script that uses a database. The advantage of having a
database to contain the scrolling text is the ability to dynamically
change the text in the scrolling text box. The text displayed scrolls
gently, and hyperlinks can also be displayed. The script is self
explanatory with relevant comments provided.
